Saints Peter and Paul

This Sunday, 29th June, we celebrate the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul, two of the most important saints in the life of the Church.
Saint Peter was one of Jesus’ closest friends and the leader of the first disciples. Jesus chose Peter to be the "rock" on which the Church would be built, and he became the first Pope. Peter showed great faith, even though he sometimes made mistakes—reminding us that Jesus loves and calls each of us, just as we are.
Saint Paul was a great teacher and missionary who helped spread the message of Jesus far and wide. Even though he didn’t follow Jesus at first, Paul’s heart was changed, and he became one of the most passionate followers of Christ. His letters are still read in churches around the world today.
Together, Saints Peter and Paul show us the power of faith, forgiveness, and courage. Their lives inspire us to follow Jesus with trust and to share His love with others.
As a school, we will take time to reflect on their example and pray that we, too, can be brave and faithful in living out our faith each day.
