This week we are learning about:

During this half-term we will be learning through lots of different traditional stories. This week we are learning about The Frog Prince.

At home you can help by reading or orally retelling the story with your child.


This is how you can help at home:

You can help your child consolidate positional language by playing games where they have to understand and use some of the prepositions above. You can play these games in English or in your home language e.g. 'Simon says the ball is in the box. Simon says the ball is behind the box.'

 

You could also have some fun at home with another frog story: 'The Frog Olympics'.

Nursery children finish at 3:05pm. Please remember to be punctual when collecting your child from school.

Tuesday 19th May 2026 - NURSERY PARENT WORKSHOP AND STAY-AND-PLAY!

Do remember to come to our short workshop which will be followed by a stay-and-play session tomorrow at 9.00am. These will be led by the Occupational Therapist from the Flying Start Project Catherine Glynn, with lots of tips on how to support your child's fine motor skills.
