St Joseph the Worker
On 1st May, we celebrate the feast of Saint Joseph the Worker, a day that honours St Joseph’s role as a humble carpenter and faithful guardian of the Holy Family. St Joseph shows us that even the simplest tasks, when done with love and care, have great value in God’s eyes.
This year, we invite our school community to reflect more deeply on the importance of perseverance, responsibility, and quiet service. In a world that often celebrates success loudly, St Joseph reminds us that faithfulness in everyday work, whether in the classroom, at home, or in our wider community, is something truly special.
Through prayer and reflection in school, the children will be encouraged to recognise their own gifts and talents, and to understand how these can be used to help others and contribute to the common good. In following St Joseph’s example, we continue to grow as a community rooted in kindness, respect, and service.
St Joseph the Worker, pray for us.
