Literacy

This week in our literacy lessons we will be learning a simplified version of the stories of Holy Week, from Palm Sunday through to the Resurrection of Jesus.

Maths

In maths this week we are learning the following:

- Find and make doubles to 10

- Explore even and odd numbers to 10.

- Find 1 more to 10

- 1 Less within 10

Phonics

This week we continue reviewing previous phonemes (sounds) we have learnt.

Our hard-to-read-and-spell words (HRSW) are: one, do, children, love.

Please continue to support your child with their phonics homework.

Please read with your child at least 3 times a week for about 10 minutes. Don't forget to make a note on your child's reading record every time you read together.
