Sacred Heart R.C. Primary School

'Where Every Heart is Sacred'

W/C 05.11.26

Welcome back to the start of a new term! We hope that you have all enjoyed a happy and peaceful Christmas break, filled with joy, rest, and quality time with your loved ones.

This week, our assemblies have focused on the message of Epiphany, reflecting on the journey of the Wise Men who followed the star to find the baby Jesus in the manger. We shared with the children how this story reminds us of the importance of hope, guidance, and sharing our gifts with others. It is a wonderful reminder that, just like the Wise Men, we are all called to seek out what is good and true and to bring light into the lives of those around us.

In 2026, we look forward to working together with you in the best interests of our children, putting Christ at the centre of all that we do.

Please remember that we go out to play in all weathers, so sending your child to school with labelled waterproof or showerproof coats, as well as hats and gloves in winter, is really important. Thank you for your continued support.

It has been great to welcome Class 1 back to school this week! We have especially enjoyed doing some art. We went on a nature hunt to find resources, like leaves, to explore wax crayons.
