Sacred Heart R.C. Primary School

'Where Every Heart is Sacred'

W/C 17.11.25

This Sunday, Catholics around the world will celebrate the Solemnity of Christ the King. The Solemnity of Christ the King reminds us that Jesus is the King of all creation. He is not a king like those we see in stories or on TV, with crowns and castles, but a king of love, kindness, and justice. Jesus teaches us how to live with compassion, help others, and make the world a better place.

Celebrating the Solemnity of Christ the King helps us remember that our actions - being honest, caring for friends, and showing respect - are ways of following Christ’s kingship in our daily lives.

The Solemnity of Christ the King is a special day to thank Jesus for being our guide and leader and to promise to live as He teaches us.

Dear Jesus, King of love, help us to be kind and fair.

Teach us to care for others and follow You every day. Amen.
