Wow, what a half term!
As we come to the end of our first half term of the year, we look back with deep gratitude. The atmosphere around school has been filled with energy, enthusiasm and joy. Children have embraced their new routines with confidence, built new friendships and strengthened existing ones. Every day, we see them growing in knowledge, understanding, and faith. Educational visits and special activities have already enriched their learning—and there is plenty more to look forward to.
We’ve been blessed with bright autumn days, allowing us to make the most of our outdoor space. Through our work with Opal, we are continuing to develop opportunities for imaginative, inclusive play, giving children the freedom to explore, create and connect during their time outside.
Looking out at a sea of red clothing during Friday’s assemblies, I felt immense pride. Your children are a joy to teach and a credit to you. Thank you for your ongoing support, and for your generous donations to the Manchester Food Bank. Your kindness is truly appreciated.
As we head into the half term break, may God watch over your families and fill your homes with peace and rest. School reopens on Monday, 3rd November. Please encourage your children to read and practise their number facts or times tables regularly, but above all, help them to rest well and return refreshed for the next half term.
“Let all that you do be done in love.”
