"Where two or three are gathered in my name."

In Sunday's Gospel, Jesus reminds us of the importance of reconciliation, prayer, and community. He encourages us to put things right when relationships have broken down, to pray together with confidence, and to remember that He is always present whenever we gather in His name.

As we begin a new school year, this Gospel is a wonderful reminder that we are strongest when we work together. Every kind word, every act of forgiveness, and every moment spent supporting one another helps to build a community rooted in Christ's love. Whether we gather in our classrooms, at home, or in church, Jesus promises to be with us. May we continue to work hard, be kind, and recognise Christ's presence in all that we do together.

School Masses this half term

We warmly welcome our new Parent Governor, Ms Wu, and are confident that they will make a valuable contribution to our Governing Body. Working alongside our dedicated team of governors, they will help to provide strategic leadership for the school and support us in ensuring that every decision we make is rooted in our Catholic mission and Gospel values, always placing the wellbeing and flourishing of our children at the heart of our work.

Change of shoes for older children

Use of the field during the autumn, winter and spring months

Children in UKS2 (Classes 7-9) will be able to use the field at lunchtimes providing they have a change of shoes in school. This protects their school shoes, and our carpets, from the Manchester mud. Please send a spare pair of shoes (ideally trainers) into school each day that your child would like to use the field at lunchtime. Children will not be allowed to use the field at lunchtimes without a change of footwear in school. Thank you for your co-operation and understanding. 

Outside Class 4

Lost property can be found in the large storage box on the playground step outside Class 4 (Miss Leadbetter’s class). Please feel free to look through this box whenever your child has misplaced an item of clothing.

Class Assemblies

During the autumn term, classes will be leading their peers in Faith Assemblies, then parents and carers will be invited to Class Faith Assemblies in the spring and summer terms. Here are the Class Faith Assembly dates for your diaries.

Education Sunday 

13th September 2026

Education Sunday falls on the second Sunday of September (13th September, in 2025) just as we all start to settle into the routine of the new academic year. Education Sunday is one of the oldest Days of Special Prayer in England and Wales, established 176 years ago in 1848. It provides an opportunity to celebrate and give thanks to all involved in making Catholic schools places of enlightenment, as well as to look forward in anticipation of the year ahead.

PLEASE NO PARKING OR EVEN STOPPING ON KNUTSFORD ROAD!

Unless you have a blue disabled badge, please do not park or even stop on Knutsford Road opposite the school or outside the school between the hours of 8am and 4:30pm as clearly marked on the yellow signs on both sides of the road. 

In accordance with the Highway Code, please do not park within 10 metres of the junctions on Knutsford Road. I need to be clear that my staff are here to teach and care for your children; they are not traffic wardens or police officers. Please be respectful of other road users and our neighbours in order to reinforce the message we share daily with our children: Every Heart is Sacred.
