On Friday 27th June, we celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, a very special day in the Church’s calendar. Classes 1-9 will be celebrating Mass at 1:45pm on June 27th; you are warmly invited to join us.
The image of the Sacred Heart reminds us of Jesus' deep and unending love for each one of us. His heart is often shown surrounded by light and flames, symbolising how His love shines brightly and warms the world. It also reminds us that Jesus is always ready to forgive, guide, and comfort us.
At school, we will reflect on how we can show that same kind of love to others through our kindness, patience, and care: at home, at school, and in our wider community.
The Sacred Heart of Jesus invites us to trust in God’s love, even when things feel difficult, and to remember that His heart is always open to us.
As a school community, let us take this opportunity to give thanks for Jesus’ love and to encourage our children to let that love inspire their words and actions.
Sacred Heart of Jesus, we place all our trust in You.
