Hi, I’m Mrs Morrison - the class teacher for Class 8. Class 8 has a mix of year 5 and 6 students. Together, we focus on helping the class consolidate everything they have learnt over their time at primary school in preparation for secondary school. This is a big year for the children, but they never fail to surprise me with their resilience and growth.

I love teaching all subjects, particularly when the children are interested and bring their own ideas to the discussion. My favourite subjects are history, art, maths, literacy and computing. I taught maths at secondary school for many years: I am able to use a lot of the skills I used to use to teach the older children to help our children understand their computing journey. I love teaching computing as the children can lead the discussion from their own experiences and their views on their future in a digital world. 

I have two young boys at home - we spend our time exploring together. Together we love to travel the world, make and build new things, read and play. 

Class Information

Children should wear their P.E. kits to school each Wednesday and Thursday. A change of clothes is not required; children can wear their kits all day. Please remember, trainers or pumps should be black.
