I am Mrs Lord and I have now worked at Sacred Heart for 11 very happy years. I live at home with Mr Lord and our young daughter who keeps us very busy! In our spare time, we enjoy visiting family and spending time in the great outdoors. I also enjoy cooking meals for our family. My favourite lessons to teach are Science and Reading. I teach Class 3 on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, and also Thursday mornings.

Hello! I’m Mrs McCarthy, and I teach in Class 3 on Wednesdays and Thursday afternoons. I am really looking forward to getting to know all the children and families in Class 3, as well as working alongside Mrs Lord. I have worked in schools across Salford, Bury and Manchester, and I am very proud to serve the community of Sacred Heart as Deputy Headteacher.
My favourite subject to teach is History, which I have an Undergraduate Degree in, and my favourite topic to teach KS1 is the Tudors. I also really enjoy teaching maths and seeing those ‘lightbulb moments’ in children.
I live at home with Mr McCarthy and our two cats, Bella and Marley. My favourite thing to do in my free time is travel the world, listen to music, and spend time with my family and friends.
Children should wear their P.E. kits to school each Monday and Tuesday. A change of clothes is not required; children can wear their kits all day. Please remember, trainers or pumps should be black.
