Hello, My name is Mrs Slater and I feel very fortunate to have been part of our lovely school community for many years. Teaching in the early years is my passion.  I thoroughly enjoy providing fun, play-based learning opportunities for our little ones to explore. I am also the Phonics Leader here at Sacred Heart.  I very much enjoy teaching early reading skills as it is so rewarding to watch children grow in confidence and develop a love of reading. Outside of school I enjoy staying active, visiting the theatre and going on days out with my two young children.
