Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, Maths Leader

Hello! I’m Mrs McCarthy, and I am really looking forward to getting to know all of the children and families at Sacred Heart. I have worked in schools across Salford, Bury and Manchester, and I am very proud to serve the community of Sacred Heart as Deputy Headteacher.

My favourite subject to teach is History, which I have an Undergraduate Degree in, and my favourite topic to teach KS2 is WW2! I also really enjoy teaching maths and seeing those ‘lightbulb moments’ in children.
